Ok, so it was all arranged for me to pick up the buggy bits from Wisbech and deliver them to North Wales yesterday and after a lot of mucking about I did eventually get it done in 1 day (400 miles is rather tiring).
Also had lots of fun with the van hire firm. I won’t go into too much detail, but after spending a week finding somewhere with a van big enough, you don’t really appreciate being told its no longer available when you go and pick it up 
I think the funniest bit looking back is them offering me a SWB transit and saying will this do, you can have the chassis hanging out of the back doors. To cut a long story short I insisted they hire me an equivalent van at their cost (which they did) and all was well. It actually cost the hire firm more to get the van for me than it cost me 
Lots of interesting things to post, but I’ll do that tomorrow. just too tired!
